'Community Champions'

Beech Hill Primary School recently presented thought-provoking artwork with around 600 straws at Luton Town FC, which could not be recycled or used on a match-day.

As a ‘Green School’ we encourage children to take part in inspiring environmentally friendly work and initiatives.  As recognition of our on-going work to ‘be green’ and support environmental initiatives, Luton Town FC presented each pupil at the match with a new “Luton Town FC Community Champion Award” badge.

John Miller, Supporter Liaison Officer and Sascha Gustard-Brown, Head of Supporter & Community Engagement were on hand to present the children with a special pin badge and certificate recognising their enthusiasm and commitment to such an important issue.

Huge congratulations to our Beech Hill pupils for being the first recipients of this award – it’s well-deserved.
